Are there any free last minute bus trips from LA to Las Vegas?

A friend from Norway is visiting and already has hotel reservations in Las Vegas. For some reason, he could not book a flight from LA to LV, and is planning to make a reservation today. It costs $250 to get a flight today. I vagely remember that there are bus trips that the casinos sponser, but don't know if they still do that.

   I just did the search. It leaves at 10 am today and gets there at 4 pm today. (there are other times...)

2. Just as a possibility - there is a site called Craig's list - you can do a google search http://www.google.com and in that site one can post freely to find someone who wishes to drive from one place to another, and others offer to drive people - I imagine one has to pay costs such as gas and that sort of thing - it might be worth a shot - and it is free to post.
