How or where can I get my passport done asap for last minute vacation trip out of US?

   I know several people who have lost money and reservations waiting 9 months for a passport.

3. Be very careful using one of those passport services...ask LOTS of questions...be sure they can do what they say they can do. Also, if you are going to Mexico, Canada, or the Caribbean, there is currently a "flexibility" program. If you apply for your passport pronto, have the receipt for the application, and follow the instructions for the "flexiblility "program at the website below, you can travel without the passport. See the same website for application info and to print out the forms. Hope you are successful in your efforts!
4. Go to your local Postal Office let them know your situation. Either A they will be able to get you one fast or B they will send you somewhere else where you can get it faster right there.
   
   
   
   I dont recommend you get it from somewhere else than the authorized places.
5. if you do not have have an appointment at a passport center, you will probably have to hire a courier to walk it through. in either event, you will need to have proof of imminent departure along with the normal requirements needed for a passport.
