Anyone have any ideas for a nice cheap trip in the US?

My friend and I just graduated high school, anyone have any cheap trip ideas? We're from San Francisco

1. Hop a flight to san diego and drive to Tijuana. it wil be great fun
2. Driving either up the coast into Oregon and Washignton and perhaps in Vancouver, Canada. Or, drive down to San Diego and perhaps to Tijuana Mexico.
   
   
   
   If you have more money than that, perhaps go to the east cost, say visit atlanta? (I say that because some of the cheapest flights from SFO are to there). Tickets ususally cost around 180$ off season round-trip. You could also rent a car there, and make sure you get unlimited miles, and drive to florida or up the coast.

3. Road trip it to national parks and campout. Your only expenses are gas, food, and admission to the parks.
