What are some good day trips to take?
I live in Rhode Island and am always looking for some good day trips to take with my family. Like Massachusetts, Conneticut, or New Hampshire. Any ideas??

- You live in a nice part of the country. Boston is a no-brainer, if you like dining and shopping. Went there once and just lounged in the park.
But New Hampshire in the fall has to be a great trip. When all the leaves are changing...drive up and around Mount Washington. Nice scenery...just go before it snows. The New Hampshire shoreline is nice too. Portsmouth if I recall correctly has a nice beach.
