Day trips to Yosemite from San Francisco?

Can anyone recommend a good tour company to do a day trip to Yosemite? We don't have a car and only have one day to spare. Also it would be in late Dec or early January.

   We took their day tours of Sausalito and another one for Muir Woods.
   
   
   
   Our hotel was in Union Square and we were picked-up from our hotel at the exact time promised, which was 7:15am. After more pick-ups from 2 other hotels in Union Square, we were all then brought to their main office somewhere in Ghiradelli Square, where one pays for the tour fee/s, after which you then board the designated tour bus.
   
   
   
   Some of their tours are not daily, so I suggest you check their website or call them. Fees vary depending on tour selection.

   Since I am local and go on my own, I have not personally used this service, but it may be worth a look.
   
   Another option you may try is to post on Craigslist for a ride share for Yosemite. It is a beautiful time of year in the Valley. There may be folks heading that way for a day ski trip at Badger Pass.
3. forget it. Yosemite is too far for a single day from SF. Its a 4 or 5 hour drive each direction -- with no traffic.
