What is the best place for a family vacation in the U.S?
We would like to take a family trip to somewhere in the U.S. We have two kids 5 year old & 1 year old. We live in California and have seen everything here in our beatiful state, we would like to visit another state, what are some good places to take the family for a week & what time of year would be best?

- I live in Canada, but i find the mountains in vermont very beautiful. Its a little far away from California though. You could go to the Rockies too, they are pretty amazing and not too far away. Either one is good all year, just dont go in winter.
- Go on the opposite side and see the east coast such as Florida and DisneyWorld although you still have a one year old. Or do a cross country paced trip vacation for the family. Have a great time!!
- May I recommend Flagstaff Arizona? It is growing city with a great small town feel. The great part? It has a great nightlife, a historic down town district, the Grand Canyon is a short drive away, Ghost towns to tour in, has the famous route 66 nearby, impact crater and is close to a few Navajo nations if you for the chance to learn more about native American culture and tons more. I just went through it myself a few days ago. It was great and people are friendly. Best part? If you live in Southern California, it is a short drive away, The most is a day or two. Ask around. You will be pleasantly surprised.
- Walt Disney World! Best time everrrr. Orlando in general would be fun for them.
My mom took me and my brothers to Washington DC when we were about 7 and we had a balll! But we were weird kids.
You could take them to broadway in New York, I'm sure they'd love The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.
Hmm I'm all out of ideas.
