Has anyone ever taken a road trip that crossed each of the 48 contiguous states. How long did it take? Help us plan our road trip. Some friends and I are planning a US road trip. We want to visit each of the 48 continguous states. Our mission is to visit at least 1 or more karaoke bars in each state. However, we disagree on how long our trip will, or should take. At first, we agreed on 3 months (we need to be back in Seattle by the time winter quarter begins). But now, we are not so sure. Has anyone traveled through all of the lower 48 states? If so, how long did it take? Even if you have not done a US road trip before ( We drove to San Diego once; then we walked across the border to Tijuana.), how long should we take? We want to allow enough time to visit karaoke bars in each state. Thanks for your help.

Planning a trip to Italy and need to know the best airports to get from Lucca to Venice? I'm planning a trip from to Italy next year, and I'm trying to get my plans together. I'm going to be flying in from the United States, most likely from either Chicago or Atlanta (probably Atlanta). Why do my christmas lights trip my breaker after about 20 minutes? I have a circuit with 3 outlets and a 20 amp breaker for my Christmas lights. The first outlet is a ground fault outlet. The other 2 are normal outlets. After about 15 or 20 minutes my breaker trips. I really dont think I have over 20 amps in lights. I would think that if it were a short due to snow the ground fault would trip first, but its not. I was very careful to waterproof all extension cord joins as best I could. What is the farthest trip you have ever taken in the shortest amount of time?
