Good sites to get last minute trips? I want to go on a trip, somewhere central or south america and I've had some people reccomend a site called sell off vacations.com, has anyone used this one? or does anyone know another reputable site to get last minute package deals?

What travle site has the lowest deals for last minute trips? My great aunt died and my mom is trying to make it to the furneral. She doesn't have a lot of money and we are trying to get the lowest possible rates. She needs to leave from Milwuakee or Madison, WI and fly to Lawton, OK on 4/27/07 to 4/29/07 any time. Why do people wait untilt he last minute to book there trips? I know this is part of the business but as a travel agent i get great deals and don't charge a fee. When I give my clients the price they are happy because it is so low but they wait days sometimes weeks before they say "ok I'm ready to book" then the price is almost double. Then I loose the sale because now its too high. If the price is good, why not pay your deposit then. Last Minute Trip To Mexico - Can I survive on 2500 pesos? My visa in China can't be renewed (stupid olympics policy change) so I've decided to go to Mexico one year earlier than I planned. Problem is I haven't been saving for it and now I have my ticket I'll be landing with 2500 pesos roughly. I'm very experienced at hitchhiking around the world (minus latin america) and plan to use couchsurfing on my journey to La Paz or Cancun (undecided). At either of which destination I plan to teach english privately. What I need to know is if I can travel and live for at least a month safely on this amount of money (obviously avoiding expensive expenses).
